Essay on Your Dream Job

A person has to spend most of the time of his day doing a job. So, it plays a vital role in shaping everyone’s life. A dream job doesn’t only give money but also get aligned with the interests to make the people live purposeful lives. Moreover, personal qualities are the key elements which help everyone define their dream jobs at some point in their lives.

My dream job was being a professional actor/artist for which I always felt the passion and enthusiasm inside me. Most of the people of this world might not even consider acting as an occupation which makes me sad sometimes. But with the growing drama, film, and theatre industry, the general perception of people has started changing somehow. For me, it is a true form of art which entertains others and take them to another level of imagination. However, there are a lot of people especially young girls and boys who have to repress their feelings and are not allowed by their families to enter this field.

Now is the time for a change and have a broader mindset to accept the entertainment industry openheartedly. Last year I stepped into this field after getting calls for a lot of auditions. Since then I have been on the go. It keeps me aware of everything happening around the world. Also, it allows me to travel which is another dream of mine came true. By living in different countries, I have learned to live independently and have tolerance. As a viewer, I was never aware of the hidden aspects of acting but after entering into it, I came to know that it is much more than what I used to think about it which also keeps me going.

However, I am not able to spend a lot of time with my friends and family because of being occupied in my long shoots day and night. But the time I spend with them is mostly the quality time which helps us bring closer to each other so I don’t have any regret about this either. Also, I am always thankful to them for being as understanding and amazing as they are and make sure that I get enough time for my passion and work. They know my job is not to get fame but to learn the art and new things every day. Moreover, the loss of privacy is a huge demerit associated with my job. It restrains me from doing a lot of things I want to do without someone knowing about it.

I have also developed an understanding of where I am going to be in the coming years. I always plan my future in terms of the positive impact I can cause on others. I feel lucky that I can address any sensitive topic or issue by my job to make people aware and well-informed about it.

Long story short, acting is the best profession and a dream job for me and a million others in this world.
